Step 1: Recommitment, "Fuel, The Energy You need to Succeed"
There is this book that I am reading now, "Fuel, The Energy You Need to Succeed" by Wes Beavis.
So here, I shall reevaluate, rediscover and refuel my emotional tank.
Step 1:Recommitment
Recommit to your cause, take control of your attitude.
Here is my cause: To succeed in life, to take control of me and the constant ticking of the clock aka time. To succeed, for me meaning: To be happy, to be free to do anything I want whenever I want. To be wealthy emotionally, financially and health-wise.
ATTITUDE
Quotes from the book
" The better your attitude, the more energy you have"
A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes" Hugh Downs.
I am going to have a good attitude in life. Its either I grumble and mumble or I take charge of my emotions. So I am going to take charge, I don't believe I cannot. I am a person with high ego, if I can't do it, I'll try and try again till I get it right.
I am going to be positive, starting tonight.
A Holocaust Survivor, Viktor Frankl said "Everything can be taken from a man but one thing; the last of human freedoms- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way"
I shall not let my emotion control me, I should have a good positive view on life, motivated to make a difference, make a change in people I've met and going to meet. I shall be happy, and like in "Eat, Pray, Love", I shall "smile with my face, and smile with my liver".
So here I shall set rules, and restriction and conditions for my mind, so that i will not allow negative thoughts rule my mind, instead fill it up with positive thinking, passion for my life and my work, respect for my family, friends, colleagues and others and most importantly respect for my own self. Punish me when I am demotivated, praise me when I am motivated, ganbatte!!
Friends, if you are reading this, please support me. Don't reprimand me, but support me. Give me a smile, it's free. :)
1. Smile more. Smile when your favorite song is playing on the radio, laugh when someone makes a joke, say hi to ppl.
2. Finish my work.
Now this is a big part of my 'burnt out' moment. Finishing deadlines. After this, I will finish my daily reports, start on my presentation and plan for tomorrow, cos visualising what tomorrow's going to bring and it will be true.
3. Eat my supplements, I am going to keep myself healthy, drink more water, eat my supplements, and go to bed early.
4. This would have to wait for tomorrow, Clean out my dear George. He has been carrying so much of my junk and I can't bear to see him being so dirty. Tomorrow, clean the car up and bring him to the car wash.
thus this brings me to number 5.
Organise my schedule.
Organise the selling details, put them in order.
Organise my books.
Organise my table.
