Sick
Been horribly sick for the past few days (yes I was sick during christmas!) It's not like I've been puking or hurting or anything. I'm just downright sick, cough, flu, eyes red and itchy, lethargic. Anyway... I've been coughing the whole night last night and i couldn't sleep. I'm super tired, but every 5mins or so, just when im dozing off, the throat would just itch and i just start coughing again. And I am super TIRED from coughing, and coughing would lead to wheezing and gahhH!!!
So this morning, i went to see the panel doctor to find a solution for this matter, and it is just so disappointing. Doctor saw me assumed bacterial infection, and passed me some throat lozenges, something for the phlegm, cough med and guess what ANTIBIOTICS. Le sigh. And sorry to say, but i know my body, and i know it's breaking down somehow. She heard my lungs and said there is NO congestion. (Lady, i know there is congestion, I can't fucking breathe! )
So after going to the panel doctor of my company, i decided to go to another clinic where it has really good review and the doctor is insanely nice and super observant. He spends a lot of time just talking and understanding the patient. The moment i entered, and he saw me, he knew i was having an allergic reaction. Though to what he is not sure but he knew i am having allergic reaction. The coughing was due to the lung congestion and the histamine that is in my body. Plus the point where I was a smoker (and prob will be a social smoker later :p), and has just recently quit, my body was undergoing some serious renovation... He deduced that I was actually having eczema and asthma.
And this is actually true, (no i'm not saying it is true because it sounds right) my childhood doctor in Limbang Sarawak actually told me all this before, as I need to be on loratadine on a daily basis when I am back in Temburong, because I am having allergic reaction, and the symptoms are all the same, i just didn't link it together! I assumed that I am only allergic to something back home (like pollens) cos my nose would just swell up and shit got serious. What I didn't realise is that I could be allergic to that damn thing here too!!
So anyway, I will be on a lot of medication the next few days and I'll be on Ventolin, Loratadine and short term antibiotics due to the inflammation and yellow phlegm, cough syrup for d cough. I think I can never live without loratadine or piriton ever.. GAG! Nothing for the throat cos i am not having sore throat.. but something for the lungs cos i can't breathe.
And I will definitely go back to that doctor as he is super attentive and super awesome! :) in case, anyone who ever finds this, you can try going to that klinik! :)
