Christchurch

image Googled (yes, I googled, all my photos are in my camera which conveniently not with me now.)
I reached Christchurch around 2pm ++. The time difference between Aust and NZ is about 3hours! It’s almost crazy I feel...

At the airport, took the city flyer to the town centre. I thought that the city would be a big city, you know something like Melbourne or a city like KL.. But surprisingly, it is a very quaint and relatively small city. With plenty of greens around and museum and art gallery.

The weather was superb too. For the 5nights that i was there, it hardly rained. Morning was gorgeous, with plenty of sun, and temperature comfortable enough for a person like me, who lived in the equatorial all her life. However, during early evenings, it will turn cold and windy. That time, i would just love to snuggle in bed, and read a book.

Met a wonderful girl who stayed in the same dorm as me. Her name is Sarah, from Manchester UK. A very smart yet fun loving person! A doctor! And very hot! LOL. She’s at Whanganui now (pronounce as nganganui?) doing her 2/3months attachment in the hospital there. J Prob if i have a chance will drop by there.

Let’s talk about Christchurch. Stayed at YMCA... for 5nights. First day, i went out with Jamie. Brought and bought me dinner (yay!) and took me around to get me settle down. Thanks Jamie!

Realised how nearby everything is. YMCA was a good choice.. haha. Walk to the city centre? 10mins. To the Museum? 2mins... To the Art Centre? 3mins. J To the Christchurch Botanical Garden? 2mins! Everywhere is so near. Though it is far from the other parts of the outskirts of the city... but Jamie took me around there so it’s alright.

Here are some pictures from my phone :)... So it is really beautiful, cos mind you, with my nokia e71, 3.2mp camera, you can still see how pretty it is.. :)

- I would need the map to know where did i go. :p I am bad with names! I need to remember them!

This is prob the yummiest thing i ate.. lol the bratswurth! YUM!!! Jamie introduced this to me too!

Jamie brought me to this place, and it is super yummy! Thanks!

Things i wished i brought along

1. My pau pau! L

2. My grey Dorothy Perkins bag!

3. My newly bought book! Grrrr

Yea. That’s it. I think :p
